Well, this is my first blog. I am now entering into the 21st century (it's about time, isn't it?)! What can I say that will impress you, the reader, who has come to read this? Not much. I am a stay-at- home mom with 2 kids, 5 1/2 and 8 months old. I am studying to be a medical transcriptionist. I used to be in sales and came to HATE it because I was doing a lousy job at work and a lousy job at home. This was, in a word, unsatisfying (remember the line from The Breakfast Club said by Ally Sheedy's character?). So, here I am, supposedly studying for a Windows XP exam, both my kids are being looked after by my parents, and I am sitting here typing my first blog. I live in the lovely province of Ontario, Canada, where the leaves are changing and falling and winter is fast approaching. I like my life right now, although my 5 1/2 year old son is a handful and I feel like I am not accomplishing much with my days. But, I have a wonderful husband, a great house and two adorable children. I could be living in Ethiopia, starving to death. Or, I could be living in Pakistan where girls have to fight to get an education. Life is good.
